I am now a proud owner of a Rebound Air! It’s a mini trampoline. I’ve been hearing about them for awhile and how beneficial they are for you health but it was not until I saw it on The Today Show that I really decided to buy one. I have to say it is worth every penny. I am not a gym person, I have bad knees that have a surprising lack of cartilage, so much so they actually crunch when I go up or downstairs. I love yoga but sometimes it’s hard to get there during the week. This I could do. How hard could it be! It’s just like jumping on the bed! This is the most fun I’ve had in a long time. I feel like a kid again! Better yet, don’t just feel like a kid but reverse your aging by jumping!

Here are some of the benefits (from Healing Daily):
It increases the capacity for breathing.
It circulates more oxygen to the tissues.
It helps combat depression.
It helps normalize your blood pressure.
It helps prevent cardiovascular disease.
It increases the activity of the red bone marrow in the production of red blood cells.
It aids lymphatic circulation, as well as blood flow in the veins of the circulatory system.
It lowers elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
It stimulates the metabolism, thereby reducing the likelihood of obesity.
It tones up the glandular system, especially the thyroid to increase its output.
It improves coordination throughout the body.
It promotes increased muscle fiber tone.
It offers relief from neck and back pains, headaches, and other pain caused by lack of exercise.
It enhances digestion and elimination processes.
It allows for easier relaxation and sleep.
It results in a better mental performance, with sharper learning processes.
It relieves fatigue and menstrual discomfort for women.
It minimizes the number of colds, allergies, digestive disturbances, and abdominal problems.
It tends to slow down aging.
Its also excellent for treating diabetes because it changes the fat to muscle ratio!
There are tons of videos on You Tube if you want to see how it works.
I thought it would be easy to injure myself and was a little worried. I had images of flying airborne through my apartment and landing in a heap on the floor. After all, I broke my foot last year just by getting up from my desk at work. I have to say though that it seems incredibly stable and I seem stable on it which is even better. There is also a stabilizing bar should you want something to balance yourself. I just can’t describe the feeling. It was absolute joy! I had a huge smile on my face. My neighbor thought I was ridiculous until he had a little bounce and immediately he too was grinning ear to ear like a child in a bouncy house. You know, the kind they have at birthday parties? I just love it. I was surprised too at how tired I was and how every muscle in my body felt like it had a little work out. I’ll keep you posted. Hopefully this will solve my lack of exercise problem. Time to jump!

Isn’t it amazing? My mom got me one a long while ago as a gift and I just have so much damn fun on it. I grew up with one of the UBERLY massive trampolines in my backyard (we’re talking 20 something feet across, it was huge) and I have always found just ‘bouncing’ around a thrill, so to find out that it was healthy for me, was like a gorgeous little cherry on top!
ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY!

Hi Kris! Your comment means the world to me. So glad to have you visit! It means so much to me! You are truly amazing!
Thanks Jenny. I can’t wait to trade. Take your time making your decision. No rush!
Laura – I didn’t shop around too much the best deal was for the ones that don’t fold and they were around $199. I got mine directly from http://www.reboundair.com because I don’t know much about them and wanted the best.
Linda – you’re so funny! Jumping seeds are fun!
Deb – I don’t know if target has them but a sports store like big 5 or sports mart might? I got mine online.
Dee – I totally agree. So much fun! I can’t believe you had one in your backyard. When I have a backyard I am totally going to do that. So much fun!
Thank you everyone for all your wonderful comments. They are so energizing!

I’ve always wondered about these mini-tramps… do you still love it? I have a steel rod in my back and have long been in search of a good low-impact cardio workout. Do you think this might fit that bill? Very curious…
