March 1st, 2008 · 5 Comments

I made this by accident today and I have to say it is absolute chocolate heaven!

BUELLER’S CHOCOLATE HEAVEN SHAKE

1 frozen banana

2 cups chocolate almond milk (I use unsweetened becasue of my candida)

1 packet stevia

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tbs cocoa

a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg

Blend, Drink and Enjoy!!

I’d include a picture but I drank it already!!

i just made a perfect shake too!!! i’m drinking it now, and of course since it’s nearly gone, no photo either- it always seems to happen that way!!
i’ll share mine in exchange for this lovely little gem you’ve posted:
2 or 3 smooshy dates (yea that’s a technical kitchen term!)
1.5 cupish (measurements are never exact with me) yerba mate or other herbal tea
a drop or two of dark chocolate flavoured stevia (my favourite!!)
    a small teaspoon cacao nibs
    1 teaspoon maca powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (liquid or powder)
1 small teaspoon of raw pumpkin seed butter (i’ve found the best company, made in small batches, completely living- very pricey but so worth it!)
2 or 3 heaping handfuls of swiss chard and spinach (any green would work except maybe the very bitter dandelion greens that I’ve been using lately- i opted to NOT use them in this particular blissful concoction!)
enough water to blend and then SAVOUR with a lovely grin!!

have a lovely sunday. . . and think of me watching the snow while dreaming of the Bay Area. . .
    xx Jenny

That is so funny. I do that all the time. I wolfe down my smoothies all too often. They taste so good I can’t help it. I keep telling myself I need to put some cayanne in there to slow myself down but it never happens! ;) Great website and I’m going to start listening to your radio interview now! :)

just curious why the banana is candida safe, since bananas are high glycemic.
