I’ve been following The Thrive Diet by Brendan Brazier to see if it helps with my adrenals. He talks all about adrenal fatigue and exercise and how to eat to reprogram your body to use fat differently. I found an amazing difference in my workout and recovery time already. I hope it helps me build and maintain muscle. I’m also totally shocked at how tasty everything is. They don’t sound great when you read the ingredients but everything I have made is sooooo good. It’s an amazing book and I couldn’t recommend it more. Almost everything is raw and what is not could be made raw by dehydrating instead of baking or just not cooking.

9 am – 1 liter water – probiotics and quintessence

9:30 am – green roobios tea

10:00 – Thrive Diet pancake and green smoothie (spinach, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 zucchini, apple, water, ice, pea protein, alive rice protein powder in apple cinnamon, hemp seed, body ecology vitality)

Brendan talks about protein and why combining them creates a more efficient fuel for your body in depth in his book and also on Crazy Sexy Life. This is a great and informative post that I highly recommend:

    1 frozen banana
