Hi, I’m Bueller. I’m a 33 year old woman, tall and slim as well as lucky to be in sunny California. I love the beach, photography and am passionate about the environment. I want to welcome you to my kitchen where even the most domestically challenged can find something good to eat.
I am domestically challenged. I’m not kidding, I really am. I’m not Rachel Ray or Martha Stewart. I once had a whole building evacuated because I tried to make toast. Toast!! So why do you ask am I writing a food blog? Well, a girl’s got to eat and when you’re told you can’t eat dairy, sugar, wheat, gluten, fruit, nuts, mushrooms, and carbohydrates, the world can be a hungry place.
This blog is the story of my journey into the world of raw/living foods and how it has changed my life, healed my body and taught me to be creative in the kitchen . Not only did I find ways not to starve, but I also found a way to a better life on every level; mentally, physically, and emotionally.
So, welcome to Bueller’s Kitchen. Where anyone and I mean anyone can learn to Eat Good, Feel Good and Look Good. Enjoy! If my dad is drinking green smoothies than anyone can do it!
THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES OF BUELLER’S KITCHEN:
“When the body is acidic, yeast, bacteria, viruses and cancer can thrive. And conversely, when the body is alkaline, foreign bacteria, viruses, yeast and cancer can not live.” -The Acid Alkaline Balance by Jeff Wend
This worked for me. Last year I overcame cervical dysplasia / cancer without surgery or medical treatments as well as Candida by balancing my body’s pH and striving for an 80% alkaline diet. (please see my “Girls Corner” for more on dysplasia) Bueller’s Kitchen is a journal of what I experienced and am experiencing while ridding my body of Candida and transitioning, what I’ve learned and am still learning as well as an expression of my continued gratitude for this experience. Yes I am grateful for having been diagnosed with dysplasia at 33. It has been nothing but a positive wake up call and allowed me to become the ambassador of my own health.
Balance is not something you reach. It is something you do every day, like walking or breathing. Sometimes you trip, sometimes you cough, however you always keep walking and you always keep breathing. Achieving balance is the same. As a friend of mine says, “The time is always now!!”
So I choose now, every moment of every day, to be the ambassador of my own health and live the life I’ve imagined, full of energy, love and joy. I hope my journal inspires you.

Love your blog~ I too am doing a similar regimen to get rid of my cervical dysplasia for good! I too came across Dr. Watson when searching for a new doc, but wasn’t sure if she focuses more on prescribing herbs/homepathic meds or can she also treat the gyno side of it? Did you go to your gyno as well because she isn’t specialized in that field? I’m in need of a new gyno and would love to go to her for both supplements and gyno care… Thanks for your wonderful tips and articles!

Dear Bueller,
I came across your site and inspiring story about how you healed your body through diet and so I thought you might be interested in knowing about the Holistic Moms Network, a national non-profit connecting parents and others who are passionate about holistic health and green living. The group is a lifeline for those who are looking for alternative ways to heal themselves and live holistically and sustainably. Hope you will check us out! All the best on your inspiring healing journey!

Dear Bueller,
My name is Sana Hashim and I am writing to you on behalf of Laughing Sage Wellness Group, a women’s holistic health center in New York City (www.laughingsagewellness.com). I found your blog and was really able to connect with it. You are such an inspiration and definitely an ambassador of your own health. I love that you emphasize that each should live his/her best life. At Laughing Sage, we believe the same and so I knew I had to get in touch with you about setting up a working relationship with you for the future.
Laughing Sage Wellness is a revolutionary model in women’s healthcare. We empower women to become the authorities for and the experts in self care of their own bodies. LSW’s programs and services help women redesign their lives by eliminating hormonal health conditions and poor lifestyle habits through a food-based, drug/surgery-free process. Outreach is mission critical, and our widely read weekly e-newsletter, informative website and content rich blog all function to serve women in accessing the best information on their health issues.
I am contacting you to ask about fostering a mutually beneficial relationship. The idea is simple but effective: you would feature us on your blog, or feature us as an expert contributor for an article and/or put our logo on your blog. In return, we would feature you on ours, include a link to your blog on ours, and/or feature you in our newsletter. The goal is to drive more people to both of our sites and reach out to as many as possible. I’m sure you’re well aware that once people know about a good thing, word spreads very quickly and this applies even more-so on the internet.
Feel free to browse through our website, http://www.laughingsagewellness.com, and our blog, laughingsage.blogspot.com for more information on our organization. I’d love to discuss this further and I am in the office Monday through Friday if you want to talk.
Thank you,
Sana Hashim

Bueller's Kitchen – I love your site. I am trying to heal my daughter (20) and researching constantly for the last two years – actually more like six. She was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis six years ago and with the latest flare – now Pulmonary Hypertension/Fibrosis. The meds are unreal but we have Stanford at our backs. She and I both want her off the 'ultra meds' (22 including oxygen). She's doing better, but we both want more for her. She was a SEVERE athlete and wants to get back to even a little of her old life.
Are you in SoCal or NorCal?
Thanks so much!
